My TCAT Experience

I have been a fan of group buying sites but I rarely buy or purchase something more than P500.  This is because I still have hesitation on these kind of marketing.

My good friend Ara, introduce TCAT to me.  Price are attractive but I have seen same products lower in some shops.  However, one thing caught my attention.  A Korean salon offering Permanent Blow Dry for only Php 1,400.  Imagine.  I have heard about some salons not honoring what they posted on the group buying site and some other hidden charges.  So, I called Makarizo Salon in Ortigas (the Korean Salon offering the promo).

A certain Racquel, answered all my questions and inquiries perfectly well.  So the next thing I knew, I found myself ordering for their service.  Once paid, I ommediately scheduled myself for the service the next day.

I was so excited, since I wanted to do this after my epic failed rebinding experience with Raymond Rodriguez Salon in Manila where I spend a whooping 3k for a rebond that lasted 3 weeks.

I arrived at the salon around 10:30am.  Welcomed by the Korean managers and staff with 3 customers inside, the place was a haven.  Quiet, relaxing and heavenly.  Unlike any other salon where a customer is constantly transferred from 1 seat to another, here a customer is assigned to a specific seat with small cabinets specifically made for their customers stuffs (i.e. bags and the like).  One need not to worry about her stuff/s left because a CCTV is installed inside the salon for customers’ security.  A Korean lady did my hair and was shampooed by a Filipina and also blow dried by 2 Filipinas.

The whole service was only 2.5hrs.  They were fast and efficient.  The Korean lady was not talking or should I say sales talking at all unlike the other Filipina who blow dried my hair who constantly telling me that I need to color my hair and things that you usually hear whenever you enter a salon.  What I like most is the shampooing of my hair.  IT WAS HEAVENLY.  The way the lady handled my hair and massages my scalp was so HEAVENLY.  I was relaxed and I think I can do it all day.

Over all experience is SUPERB!  Going to wait how long this Blow dry last.  Till my next blog.

  1. I beg to differ. My experience at this salon (went yesterday) is the WORST I've had in my entire LIFE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, HORRIBLE DIGIPERM RESULT (there is NOT a single change in my hair at all). I HATE THIS SALON TO DEATH I might post hate reviews everywhere and blog about this miserable excuse for a "salon". Puro mura naririnig ko sa hairdressers, backstab sa katrabaho, masungit sa counter palang--tinandaan ko mukha nilang lahat. And when I thought it couldn't get any worse, my digiperm ended up like trash. I will definitely go back to this salon, but only to have my perm fixed. FOUR THUMBS DOWN.
